Please hear me. If you've told your Child "NO" and they ask "WHY?" you should NEVER say, "Cause I said so!" See, this just makes them have a rebellious spirit with a tinge of Defiance. By explaining why you've made a decision, they're more apt to Learn from it rather than lean away. See, even at 67 years old, I can remember my own Mother saying "No, cause I said so" and feeling miffed by it. If I said, "Well, I wanna turn the Oven up on High so it'll Cook quicker" and of course my Mom would tell me NOT to do that, right? If only she'd explained to my know-it-all Brain, it'd been more of a Learning Experience than an Act of Defiance!
