Correct me if I'm wrong, but, the word shit is most likely German, Dutch and Old English referencing Dung! And, just for the record (those of you with delicate sensibilities, cover your eyes NOW) there are 26 Instances of the word DUNG in the KJV. Get a grip as some of us still live in the real World and it ain't PG!
